Your Instructor
Bill O'Malley is the owner and sole instructor at Rowland School of Motoring. He qualified as a Driving Standards Agency (DSA) Approved Driving Instructor in 1992 and joined the business that same year. When the original founder retired in 2005, Bill took over the school and has been its dedicated instructor ever since.
With over 30 years of experience, Bill has taught hundreds of students from across South Manchester — from nervous first-timers to experienced drivers returning to the road after a long break. Every student receives his personal attention and a teaching approach tailored to their individual needs and learning style.
Bill believes that good driving instruction is about more than just passing a test. It is about building the confidence, skills and road awareness that will keep you safe for a lifetime of driving. His patient, calm teaching style has been praised by students of all ages, from 17-year-olds eager to hit the road to drivers in their 60s learning for the first time.
